Can you believe January is over already? The only silver lining is that it’s nearly February – which means my birthday, and I’m off to see to see Hamilton on the West End! But before that, let’s have a look at how I’ve been getting on with my goals so far!
I am so jealous of anyone who can produce gorgeous planner spreads. It’s something I’ve always struggled with, possibly because of the massive roadblock in my head whenever it comes to creativity. (I’m working on it.) I’m starting to come to terms with it, giving myself permission to be a little bit wild and free with my planning, but I still want to make it pretty, and one very popular way is through adding washi tape. So, since my Passion Planner arrived last week I’ve been trawling the internet for nice washi tape that can add the perfect embellishments to my weekly plans. And, of course, I had to find some cat themed tape.
After not much searching, I found these gorgeous examples. Payday can’t come soon enough!
I love simple designs and gold foil, so fell in love with this tape as soon as I saw it. And Cynthia doesn’t just sell tape – she also sells a range of planner stencils which might just encourage me to stretch my creative planning!
Meow Washi Tape by Doodle Bug Design Inc.
I found this simple tape for sale by LouTinenEvents on Etsy. My handwriting is shocking, so I can’t decide if this beautiful written meow would make my planner look better or just make my handwriting look worse in comparison. Either way, I want it.
This tape is a little more pricy than the previous offerings (especially once shipping is taken into consideration) but it’s so pretty I’m not sure I would mind. I love the little bowties that add a little extra colour, plus the tuxedo cat looks just like my mum’s cat Hector!
